A special session entitled “Control Solutions for Smart Mechatronics Industrial Systems” has been organized by I-MECH technical coordinator Dr. Martin Cech (ZAPUNI) and Prof. Antonio Visioli (UNIBS) at the 24th IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation, which has been held in Zaragoza (Spain) on September 2019. This conference is the annual event of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) dedicated to the latest developments and new technologies in the field of industrial and factory automation.
Eight papers have been jointly prepared and presented by many I-MECH partners from SCC, ZAPUNI, EDI, UNIBS, GEF, UCC, VIS, GMV, TEK, BUT and TUE giving to the conference’s participants a comprehensive overview of the I-MECH project. A meeting between the participants has also been organized so that there was a chance to discuss the achieved results and future developments of control solutions for the next generation of mechatronic systems.
