I-MECH had an active presence at the ECSEL Symposium 2019 held on June 17-18, in Bucharest Romania. During several guided exhibition tours, the project’s actual achievements and future visions
were presented to broad audience of public authorities, company representatives and research communities. Various bilateral discussions were also made aiming to align future directions towards next Horizon Europe research programme. In this context, I-MECH’s goal is to provide reference edge
computing and controlling platform for smart production and/or digital manufacturing domains. Finally, during the “Lighthouse Industry4.Ε workshops” accrued as part of the Symposium, strategic directions have been aligned between I-MECH and selected ECSEL projects working at smart production site with an ambition to have influence on ECSEL multi-annual research agenda.
